Doomy respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Doomy handles information when you use the app.

🌟 Overview

Doomy is designed to help users reduce distractions by blocking apps, short-form feeds and websites chosen by the user.

To provide this functionality, Doomy uses Android’s AccessibilityService permission to detect which apps and websites are opened on the device. This allows Doomy to determine whether the currently opened app or website matches content the user has chosen to block.

♿ AccessibilityService Usage

Doomy uses AccessibilityService only for the following purposes:

• 📱 Detecting which app is currently open
• 🌐 Detecting which website or page is currently open, when available
• 🚫 Blocking distracting apps or websites selected by the user
• 🎯 Helping the user stay focused according to their own settings

Doomy does not use AccessibilityService to collect personal data, read private messages, capture passwords, monitor keystrokes, or access sensitive content unrelated to the app’s blocking functionality.

🗂️ Data Collection

Doomy processes subscription status and purchase history to determine access to paid features. Payment card details are not collected or stored by Doomy.

Doomy stores blocking preferences and app behavior locally on the user’s device.

Doomy also uses Firebase Analytics to collect basic, aggregated app usage information, such as app opens, sessions, general engagement, and feature usage events. This helps improve the app and understand how users interact with Doomy.

Doomy does not send the content of blocked apps, websites, private messages, passwords, keystrokes, or user-created blocking preferences to Firebase Analytics.

🤝 Data Sharing

Doomy does not sell, rent, or trade user data.

Basic analytics data may be processed by Google Firebase Analytics to help measure app usage and improve Doomy.
